Wales’ performance at the 2022 Commonwealth Games was genuinely impressive. Finishing eighth out of 72 countries with 28 medals is no small achievement, and it’s great to see how strongly the team performed across so many sports. The para-athletes especially stood out, contributing half of the gold medals and showcasing incredible talent and determination. It’s also amazing to see such a wide spread of success—from track and cycling to boxing, bowls, and even table tennis. This really highlights the depth of sporting ability in Wales. Overall, a proud moment for Team Wales and its supporters.
