    Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng and Labour Markets Minister, Pali Lehohla, have reportedly been in talks to discuss the possibility of increasing the number of apprenticeship places. Apprenticeships offer young people the opportunity to gain employment-related skills while in full-time education. The government is hoping to increase the number of apprenticeship places from the current level of 220,000 to 300,000 by 2020.
