    Pride and Prejudice


    Pride and Prejudice is a romantic novel by Jane Austen, first published in 1813. The story charts the emotional development of the protagonist, Elizabeth Bennet, who learns the error of making hasty judgments and comes to appreciate the difference between the superficial and the essential. The comedy of the writing lies in the depiction of manners, education, marriage, and money during the British Regency period.

    I purchased this for a guestbook for my friend bridal shower. It is a really lovely and fun journal to read. The praised I got is really worth the price.

    I thought it was one of the best historical romance books that are still so relatable and relevant in today's society. I loved Elizabeth's strong-minded character trait. That a woman from that era would have the courage to stand up to Darcy and reject him when he treated her poorly.
